After breakfast at the hotel, we begin the day with a relaxing 1-hour cruise on the Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake and a vital lifeline for millions of Cambodians. During the cruise, you will have the chance to explore a floating village, where you can witness the unique lifestyle of local fishermen and their families who live on stilt houses and floating homes. This experience offers a fascinating glimpse into the traditional way of life on the water.
Following the cruise, we return to Siem Reap town to visit Chantiers-Ecoles – Artisans d’Angkor, a social enterprise dedicated to preserving traditional Khmer arts and crafts. You will observe skilled artisans at work, creating exquisite sculptures, silk products, and wood carvings—a great place to pick up meaningful souvenirs and support local talent.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, offering authentic Cambodian cuisine.
After lunch, enjoy some free time to shop at the Old Market (Psar Chas), a bustling local bazaar filled with handicrafts, souvenirs, spices, and local products.
Finally, we transfer you to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight.
