Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our Thai tour guide with a friendly “Sawadee Ka” (Hello in Thai). Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is at your leisure to unwind, explore the vibrant streets, or rest after your journey. Whether it’s the glittering temples, flavorful street food, or lively markets. Bangkok promises an unforgettable introduction to your adventure.

Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2: Bangkok City Tour – Flight To Chiang Mai (B, L)

This morning, discover Bangkok’s spiritual and cultural heart, a city that beautifully balances its modern energy with ancient reverence. Despite its rapid modernization, Bangkok remains a treasure trove of sacred temples and historical marvels that continue to captivate both pilgrims and travelers alike.

Your day begins with a visit to Wat Traimit (Temple of the Golden Buddha), home to a remarkable 5.5-ton solid gold Buddha image dating back over 900 years. Next, head to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), one of Thailand’s most iconic landmarks, gracing countless postcards with striking riverside spires. Continue to Wat Pho, Bangkok’s largest and oldest temple, renowned for its impressive Reclining Buddha and the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, sampling authentic Thai flavors.

In the afternoon, visit the Grand Palace, Thailand’s spiritual and political heart. Marvel at its opulent architecture before exploring Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), the most revered temple in Thailand. Though located side by side, these two sites offer a striking contrast: the Thai traditional style and the more European-inspired Grand Palace buildings.

After your tour, return to the hotel to relax before your evening transfer to the airport.

Later, take a domestic flight to Chiang Mai.

21:00 Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a restful evening as you prepare for the next chapter of your Thailand adventure.

Day 3: Chiang Mai Cultural Discovery & Kantoke Dinner Show (B, L)

This morning, begin your journey through the spiritual heart of northern Thailand with a visit to Wat Umong, one of Chiang Mai’s most unique and atmospheric temples. Located in a tranquil forest setting at the foot of Doi Suthep Mountain, Wat Umong is known for its meditative serenity, moss-covered stupas, and centuries-old underground tunnels lined with Buddha images.

Stroll through the peaceful grounds where monks feed deer at dawn and signs bearing Buddha’s teachings hang gently from the trees. Feed the turtles and fish in the temple pond and breathe in the quiet wisdom of this sacred sanctuary, a true hidden gem cherished by travelers seeking a deeper connection during their Thailand holiday.

Afterward, return to Chiang Mai’s old town and visit Wat Chiang Man, the city’s oldest temple, home to ancient Buddha statues and beautiful Lanna-style architecture.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, sampling Northern Thai specialties.

In the afternoon, hop aboard a local Songthaew (red truck taxi) and ascend the scenic mountain road to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most revered temple in northern Thailand. Perched high above the city, this golden-spired temple offers sweeping views of Chiang Mai and houses a sacred relic of the Buddha. According to legend, the site was chosen by a white elephant carrying the relic, which stopped and died here, a story that lends the temple its spiritual significance.

Return to your hotel and enjoy some time at leisure.

In the evening, immerse yourself in the culture of northern Thailand with a Kantoke Dinner Show. Indulge in a traditional Lanna-style meal served on low tables while enjoying vibrant music performances and classical Thai dance, a truly enriching and colorful experience that brings Thai heritage to life.

The Mekong River splits into nine major branches, creating a vast network of waterways bustling with boats of all sizes. This vibrant riverine life gives the delta its unique charm and makes it a favorite destination on any Vietnam tour.

Upon arrival, embark on a boat trip to explore the Cai Be Floating Market, where you’ll see locals trading goods right from their boats, a truly authentic Mekong experience. Visit nearby villages to meet residents and learn about their traditional lifestyle.

Continue cruising to An Binh Island, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch with a local family. After lunch, take a leisurely bike ride around the island to soak in the rural scenery and peaceful countryside.

In the afternoon, continue your journey to Can Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Check into your hotel upon arrival, with the evening free at your leisure.

Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 29: Cai Rang Floating Market – Chau Doc (B)

Early this morning, enjoy a boat cruise to the Cai Rang Floating Market, widely regarded as the most vibrant and picturesque market on the Mekong Delta. Experience the bustling scene filled with countless rowing boats selling fresh produce and local goods, a true highlight of any Vietnam tour.

After the market visit, stroll through the nearby village to explore traditional local life. Visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodle making workshop to witness authentic Mekong Delta daily activities.

Around noon, transfer to Can Tho airport for your short flight to Phu Quoc Island. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your resort.

Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 30: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (B)

Depart on a scenic 4.5-hour journey by boat up the river to Phnom Penh, an exotic highlight of your Indochina tours. Once known as the “Pearl of Asia,” Phnom Penh’s brilliance was dimmed by war and revolution. Today, however, the city has risen from the ashes to reclaim its status as one of the region’s most vibrant and captivating capitals.

In the afternoon, explore Phnom Penh’s top attractions, including:

  • The Royal Palace, a stunning example of Khmer architecture and the residence of Cambodia’s King
  • The Silver Pagoda, famous for its floor paved with thousands of silver tiles and its precious Buddha statues
  • Raung Damrei Museum, showcasing local history and culture
  • The National Museum of Fine Arts, home to an impressive collection of Khmer art
  • The Independence Monument, symbolizing Cambodia’s freedom
  • The bustling Central Market, perfect for browsing local crafts and souvenirs

Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 31: Phnom Penh – Flight To Siem Reap (B, L)

After breakfast, your Indochina tour guide will transfer you to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap, one of the most thrilling destinations on any Indochina tour and the gateway to the magnificent Temples of Angkor.

In the afternoon, embark on a tuk-tuk ride to Angkor Thom, the ancient city of immense scale and perfectly planned layout, home to stunning temples and incredible architectural masterpieces.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 32: Siem Reap – Angkor Tour (B, L)

Siem Reap is undoubtedly one of the most captivating highlights of your Indochina tours. After breakfast, start your day exploring the “small circuit” temples. Your guide will introduce you to the grandeur of the ancient Khmer civilization as you visit impressive ruins such as Ta Prohm, famously intertwined with jungle roots, and the sprawling Preah Khan temple.

In the afternoon, be awestruck by the magnificence and intricate beauty of Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 33: Siem Reap – Flight To Bangkok (B)

Enjoy your free time at leisure to wrap up your memorable Indochina tours. When the time comes, your LuxeTravel private guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Bangkok, where you will connect with your departure flight home.

We hope you have enjoyed your Indochina tours with us and look forward to welcoming you again for your next adventure. LuxeTravel Asia says goodbye and sees you again soon!
