Launched in August 2025, Lyra Grandeur combines contemporary comfort with reinterpreted Indochine design across just 33 suites, allowing unusually generous public spaces for a vessel of its scale.
Every suite features floor-to-ceiling windows, a private balcony or terrace, and an ocean-view bathtub. Accommodation ranges from 32 m² Oasis, Harmony and Sky Suites to family configurations, the 57 m² La Suite de Lyra and the 92 m² Owner Suite.
The experience is particularly strong around the water. Guests can swim from Frog Lagoon, kayak between limestone formations, use the ship’s signature eight-metre waterslide, relax in the heated Oasis Pool & Jacuzzi or spend time in Lyra Grandeur’s outdoor Nordic-style sauna overlooking Lan Ha Bay.
Longer journeys move deeper into the region. The 3D2N programme adds Viet Hai Village and Three Peach Beach, while the 4D3N voyage continues into Cat Ba National Park and Trung Trang Cave.
Oasis Suite is Lyra Grandeur’s entry category, but it already includes the key features found throughout the ship: floor-to-ceiling windows, a private balcony and an ocean-view bathtub. Warm timber details and a neutral palette give the room a calm contemporary feel after a day on the water.
Designed for a family of up to four, the Oasis Family Suite combines a king bed and two single beds in a larger 44 m² layout. Guests still retain a private balcony and ocean-view bathtub, so choosing a family configuration does not mean giving up the core Lyra experience.
Harmony Suite offers the same generous 32 m² footprint as Oasis but moves one deck higher. Wooden furnishings, large windows and balcony seating create a comfortable connection with the bay, while the bathroom combines an ocean-view bathtub with a rainfall shower.
La Suite de Lyra is designed primarily with couples in mind. At 57 m², it introduces a much larger private outdoor area, upgraded furnishings and a stronger sense of separation between sleeping and relaxation spaces, making it particularly appealing for honeymoons and special occasions.
The Sky Suite keeps the 32 m² layout but places guests higher on the ship. The elevated position provides more open views across Lan Ha Bay, while the private balcony and ocean-facing bathtub remain central to the experience.
Sky Terrace Suite adds considerably more private outdoor space than the standard Sky category. A terrace with sun loungers faces Lan Ha Bay, while the marble bathroom and ocean-view bathtub make this one of the strongest choices for couples who value outdoor space.
A high-deck family option for four guests, combining a king bed and two singles with a private balcony and ocean-view bathtub. It is particularly useful for families who want the elevated position of the Sky Deck without moving to a duplex layout.
The Sky Terrace Family Suite combines family capacity with the larger outdoor area normally associated with Lyra’s premium couple suites. It also includes indoor sofa seating, a marble bathroom and ocean-view bathtub.
This is Lyra Grandeur’s most distinctive family accommodation. The 64 m² suite is arranged over two levels, each with its own bedroom space and private terrace, giving parents and children considerably more privacy than a conventional family cabin.
Relax in the heated pool and Jacuzzi while the limestone scenery of Lan Ha Bay passes beyond the deck. Designed for use throughout the year, it is equally appealing for a swim or simply a slower afternoon on board.
For something more playful, Lyra Grandeur’s eight-metre waterslide runs directly from the vessel towards the emerald water below during scheduled swimming stops.
Balance the active excursions with spa treatments or time in Lyra Grandeur’s distinctive outdoor Nordic-style sauna, where natural timber and gentle heat are paired with open views of the bay.
The main dining venue serves Vietnamese fusion and international menus in a bright panoramic space overlooking Lan Ha Bay. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and halal menus can also be arranged in advance.
Enjoy afternoon tea or evening drinks in the Spirit of the Sea Lounge before heading higher to the Ocean Sky Sundeck and its 360° Observatory Peak for one of the best viewpoints onboard.
Evenings can be lively or relaxed. Play billiards or table football in the Entertainment Room, join a professionally hosted game at the Poker Club, watch a film or try traditional squid fishing after dinner.

Take some time to relax before boarding while the team transfers luggage and prepares for departure.

Board the tender for the short transfer from Tuan Chau to Lyra Grandeur.

Lunch & Sailing into Lan Ha Bay
Lunch is served at Harmony of the Sea Restaurant as Lyra Grandeur leaves the busier waters around Ha Long and continues towards Lan Ha Bay.
Large panoramic windows make the changing limestone scenery part of the meal. Afterwards, settle into your suite and spend some time on your private balcony before the afternoon activities.
Frog Lagoon
Lyra anchors around Frog Lagoon, also known locally as Ao Ech, for an afternoon centred around the water.
Explore the sheltered landscape by kayak, swim directly in the calm bay or simply relax around the ship’s heated Oasis Pool & Jacuzzi.
Guests looking for something more adventurous can try the signature waterslide, while Lyra Grandeur’s outdoor Nordic-style sauna offers a quieter way to enjoy the setting.
Wheelhouse Visit
Visit the wheelhouse and meet members of the navigation team.
Learn a little about operating a vessel through Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay and, when conditions permit, take a memorable photograph at the captain’s station.

Head towards the Spirit of the Sea Lounge or Ocean Sky Sundeck as the afternoon light softens over Lan Ha Bay.

Travel by traditional bamboo rowing boat or kayak through a low limestone passage before entering the enclosed lagoon beyond, surrounded by steep forested cliffs and calm water.
The excursion is gentle and scenic, making it suitable for most travellers.

Speedboat to Viet Hai
Leave Lyra Grandeur by speedboat and travel across the bay towards Viet Hai Pier on Cat Ba Island.
The journey takes you deeper into the quieter landscape of Lan Ha Bay, away from the main overnight anchorages.
Viet Hai Village
Continue approximately six kilometres through the countryside by bicycle or electric car.
The route passes limestone hills, forest and rural scenery before reaching Viet Hai Village.
Visit a traditional house, learn about local life and take part in a steamed rice-roll experience. A natural fish foot massage is also included in the current programme.
Guests who prefer not to cycle can choose the electric-car option.
Three Peach Beach
Travel onwards to Three Peach Beach, a secluded stretch of pale sand surrounded by limestone cliffs.
Swim in the sheltered water, relax on the beach or simply enjoy the quieter atmosphere of this more remote part of Lan Ha Bay.
Return to Lyra Grandeur
Travel back to the mother ship and enjoy some free time before lunch.
This is a good opportunity to return to your suite, take a swim or relax beside the pool.

Day 2 follows the Viet Hai Village and Three Peach Beach programme, including Tai Chi at 06:00, breakfast at 06:15, speedboat departure at 08:00, village exploration from 09:00 and beach time from 11:00. The afternoon continues with lunch, tea ceremony, sunset and dinner onboard.

Speedboat to Gia Luan
Travel by speedboat towards Gia Luan Pier on Cat Ba Island.
Trung Trang Cave
Continue by road for approximately 20 minutes through Cat Ba National Park to Trung Trang Cave.
Walk through the cave’s narrow passages and limestone formations, discovering a very different landscape from the sea caves visited elsewhere on the programme.
Comfortable footwear is strongly recommended as the cave includes steps and uneven ground.
Return to Lyra Grandeur
Return to the ship with time to relax before lunch.

Frog Lagoon
Return to Frog Lagoon for another afternoon on the water.

For travellers with time, yes. The additional day introduces Cat Ba National Park and Trung Trang Cave, plus another relaxed afternoon around Frog Lagoon. It feels meaningfully different from simply adding another night onboard.
