08:00 – Depart Ho Chi Minh City for a pleasant drive through the countryside to Cu Chi Tunnels.
Before entering the tunnels, you’ll see a short introductory video about their construction. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnel maze. Also on display are various mantraps, the remains of an American tank, and numerous bomb craters created by 500-pound bombs dropped by B-52 bombers.
13:00 – Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City.
In the afternoon, begin your Ho Chi Minh City tour with a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, fine examples of classical French colonial architecture.
Visit the Reunification Palace, one of the city’s most important buildings. Here on 30 April 1975, the American War officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was then the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
Continue to the War Remnants Museum (formerly the Museum of American War Crimes), featuring poignant displays of the futility of war. The courtyard outside contains jets, tanks, and cannons captured from the American military.

08:00 – Our tour guide picks you up at your hotel lobby, then drives 90 km (2 hrs) to Ben Tre.
Board a boat cruise along the Ham Luong River (a branch of the Mekong River) and stop off at various local workplaces, including a brick works, a coconut processing workshop, and a mat weaving house.
The boat will then stop at a quiet village, where you can enjoy a short walk to experience real Delta village life and take a bicycle ride through dense coconut plantations.

Tomb of King Minh Mang
In the morning, head to Hue’s outskirts to visit the Tombs of King Minh Mang and King Khai Dinh, two of the most impressive examples of the Nguyen Dynasty royal architecture.
King Minh Mang Tomb, located about 12km from the city center on the west bank of the Perfume River, was started in 1840 by the king himself and completed by his son. It is considered the most majestic of all Nguyen Dynasty tombs, admired for its harmonious blend of architecture and natural landscape.
King Khai Dinh Tomb, although the smallest of the royal tombs, is also the most elaborate and costly. Construction began in 1920 and took 11 years. This tomb is notable for its fusion of oriental and Occidental styles, featuring Roman, Gothic, ancient, and modern influences.

05:30 Wake up early and begin your morning experience around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter – the iconic heart of Hanoi.
