It is considered the most majestic of all Nguyen Dynasty tombs, admired for its harmonious blend of architecture and natural landscape.

King Khai Dinh Tomb, although the smallest of the royal tombs, is also the most elaborate and costly. Construction began in 1920 and took 11 years. This tomb is notable for its fusion of oriental and Occidental styles, featuring Roman, Gothic, ancient, and modern influences.
